This Nearly Was Mine (David Hogan)
A tribute to Chick Corea.
This arrangement of mine is an interpretation for brass, set in part around Corea’s solo piano recording from his album ‘Expressions’.
Little needs to be said by me about the artistry of Chick Corea and the hole he has created within the musical community since his passing - the same that happens when all contributors of great art come to pass. I will continue to discover more of his music much in the same way that his legacy will continue to inspire and influence others.
